Petition ZRA-117 Hearing
December 20th, 2010, 7:30pm George Howard Building 3430 Courthouse Drive Ellicott City, MD 21043 We strongly urge all our supporters to attend the hearing on December 20th if possible. We hope to see you there! We especially want to encourage our supporters that are not beekeepers to offer written and/or oral testimony supporting beekeeping in Howard County. If you are a Howard County resident and you would like to provide oral testimony in support of the honey bees and beekeepers, please send an email to woody@dontsqueezethebees.org to find out more. But why wait? There are some things you can do to help right now! We encourage all our supporters to write a letter to their representative on the county council. You can use our website to identify the county council person represents your district. In your message, please indicate where you live in the county and why you feel honey bees are important. Although written testimony will continue to be received by the council all the way until they vote on the bill, to be most effective your written testimony should be submitted the week before the hearing to allow the council members time to read and consider the testimony. As a result, we encourage you to submit your letter to your county council representative on or before December 16th. | |||||||||||||
